WellConnection IOS provide a full inspection, refurbishment and repair service for drillpipe.

Drillpipe inspection services include:

• Visual thread inspection
• Thread profile gauge
• EMI or UT or combined EMI / UT Inspection pipe body inspection
• MPI / Dye Pen inspection of end connections
• Fully automated external shot blasting all sizes of standard and hevi-weight drillpipe, drill collars up to 8” diameter

At the WellConnection IOS pipeyard, the inspection is carried out on hydraulically controlled inspection tables, utilising Techsonic EZ-11 (Ultrasonic End Area System) on an overhead gantry system for one man safe operations. Additional services available at the WellConnection IOS pipeyard include:

• Fully automated external shot blasting all sizes of standard and hevi-weight drillpipe and drill collars up to 8" diameter.
• High pressure internal and external water jet cleaning to 10,000psi.
• Internal and external coating applications.
